The labour market is changing, and significant developments are also on the horizon within the temporary employment and secondment sector. One of these is the introduction of the Act on the Authorisation of the Provision of Workers (WTTA). With this new Act, the government aims to combat malpractice in the temporary employment sector and ensure greater transparency, reliability and protection for workers.

What does the WTTA entail?
The WTTA introduces a mandatory authorisation scheme for companies that make workers available to other organisations. This means that temporary employment agencies, secondment agencies and other organisations that supply staff will soon have to meet certain conditions in order to continue supplying staff. In this way, the government aims to ensure a fair labour market in which quality, good employment practices and compliance with laws and regulations are central.

We have already registered!
We believe it is important to look ahead and be well prepared for changes within our sector. That is why we have now registered for the WTTA’s transitional scheme. In doing so, we are taking an important step towards the new legislation and demonstrating that we are actively preparing for it. We believe it is important to have our affairs in order and to offer our clients, staff and business partners certainty and confidence.

What does this mean for our clients and staff?
For our clients, this means that we are mindful of the new obligations and are taking timely steps to meet future requirements. For our staff, providing good support, reliability and fair treatment remain, as always, our top priorities.
